Photo 1: Mark is on the rock slightly above the shadow of my head. This photo was taken looking up Mineral King Road (as if you were going uphill). The Trauger trough is at the curve in the road in the background of the picture.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1940 2.4 MI NE FROM LOOKOUT POINT RANGER STATION. 2.4 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG THE MINERAL KING ROAD FROM LOOKOUT POINT RANGER STATION, TULARE COUNTY, IN SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK, AT TRAUGER WATERING STATION, 120 FEET WEST OF THE WATER TROUGH, 13 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, IN THE SIDE OF A ROCK, AND ABOUT 2 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE ROAD. A UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY STANDARD DISK, STAMPED 4596 1905 AND SET VERTICALLY.
